Transcend is not the most recognizable brand name, but this SDHC card delivers decent quality at an affordable price.  This card appears to have a slightly higher failure rate than some other cards, but not significantly higher. If you are willing to trade some reliability for a few dollars, then it is a good choice.

It’s a class 6 card which means that it supports at least 6MB/s data write speeds which is enough for some basic camcorders.  This card actually performs at about 13MB/s, so if your camcorder records at more than 13MB/s, then you should get a faster card such as the SanDisk 16gb Extreme III 30MB/s Edition SDHC High Performance Card.

Aside from the physical specs of the card, our favorite feature is the packaging. It’s refreshing to not have to breakout the “jaws of life” to get the card out of the packaging. Thanks Amazon.
